Interesting, there seem to be a few similar sites out there, I personally didn't realise the whole pixel ad thing was so big! I guess Alex Tew made money with this concept.

Similar to Pixelotto, here's another example: Pixel Draws. I think it looks a bit more realistic because they don't try to give away $1m (I doubt Pixelotto will ever reach that, it's still at $152,300 now), they give away $1,000 at a time over 3 years (your entry is re-used every time as a player).

Does anyone else know of these kinds of sites? I think Pixel Draws just got started, so I'll be interested to see if they sell ads given they're not as well known as Alex.

cheers,

I have since removed the flyer for this site, after a change of ownership the site seems to have lost a lot of what made it special. If it gets back to how it used to be I will of course design a new flyer for it.

I ran across the flyer wall...very cool! Dr.MOZ might be a fun addition to the wall. They make "The GoodFather" which is a gift CD-ROM that teaches new dads baby skills to a parody of the mobster theme.

They also provide a free online announcement service for brand new parents with no time to make their own:
